If a channel is in a MP4 format than it doesn't means its a True HD channel until its a upgraded to HD MP4 channel or a true HD channel but yes even a MP4 SD channels have much better PQ compare to MP2 SD channels plus MP4 SD channel consume's very less Bandwidth compare to MP2 SD channel which saves extra space in a Tp. Don't why Tatasky took so long to convert their channels to MP4 when they knew they have space problem in their Tps for years they must have started to convert their MP2 Sd channels to MP4 long before so they would create extra space in their tps to add more channels.
