Umang event moves from Sony TV to ZEE TV

The recently held annual Umang event, has a new broadcaster this year.

After being aired on Sony Entertainment Television over the past few years, ZEE TV has clinched the rights.

The show, which is held under the aegis of the police department in India, is attended by various Bollywood stars. This year’s Umang took place over the weekend and featured the likes of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who danced to a song from their forthcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. They were accompanied by Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty and Arjun Kapoor.

Umang 2017 will air at the following times:
UK – Sunday 5th February 2017 at 19:00
India – Sunday 29th January 2017 at 18:00
