Tina Dutta's
'Uttaran' will go
off air on January
16. After 'Pavitra
Rishta', this is the
second show from the 1,000 episode
club to go off air. According to
sources, the show's ratings had seen
a drop in the last few months and
the channel had been thinking of
pulling the plug on the show for a
long time.
Mrunal Jain, one of the actors on the
show, said, "Nothing has been
communicated to us so far."
However, Rupali Guha, producer of
the show, confirmed the
development and said, "Yes, the
show is going off air on January 16
and we will be winding up the
shoot in the first week of January."
