The Leading Telugu News and Infotainment Channel V6 News has always stood as an example for being responsible towards the society and friendly towards the environment and been a part of important celebrations in the lives of Telugu audience.
As the country is gearing up for the upcoming season of festivals that starts with Ganesh Chaturthi festival that will be starting on 5th September and ends mid-September 2016 with the immersion of Ganesh Idols in nearby Lakes, Rivers, Beaches etc… Every year, the holy celebration also comes with an environment hazard of pollutions due to usage of Chemicals like Plaster-of-Paris, Toxic Colour and paints. The Channel has voluntarily taken the initiate to spread an eco-friendly awareness among the people of Telangana and Andhra by launching the green initiative “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” emphasizing the need for usage of Ganesh Idols and Natural Colors instead of Idols made of toxic Chemicals and Colors.
As part of V6 News “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” campaign the channel is launching a fortnight long Campaign promoting the cause with a special song specifically composed for this purpose. The lyrics of the Song and Visuals of the video were packaged in a way to encourage them to be responsible by using clay Ganesh Idols and Naturals Colors.
