Vh1 will air this year’s Europe Music Awards,
which recognise the best in the music video medium.
Started by MTV Networks Europe in 1994, Europe Music
Awards are presented to musicians and performers based
on viewers’ votes.
This year the awards have got five Indian nominations
under the ‘Best India Act category’, within the Worldwide
Act Category of the awards. They are Priyanka Chopra,
Monica Dogra, Indus Creed, Your Chin and The Ska
Vengers.
The winners will be announced on 25 October.

Palia said, “It gives us immense pleasure to see Indian
names competing with artists across the globe. This gives
a huge encouragement to talent in the country who follow
English music. We, at Viacom18, have always worked
towards the growth of English entertainment in India.
