Etv Kannada - colors Kannada ( strong opponent in Kannada )

Etv odia - colors odiya ( #4th GEC in odia )

Etv Gujarati - colors Gujarati ( #1 GEC in Gujarati )

Event happened on 25th and 26th May 2015 on respective channels.

IMO only some channels were benefited by the change while others were destroyed. Colors Kannada and Colors Marathi got huge ratings and Colors Kannada was the number one for a long time until Zee Kannada took over.

However a successful channel (ETV Bangla) was totally destroyed when it became Colors Bangla. The duopoly of Zee Bangla/Star Jalsha started from here only when Colors Bangla fell out of the race.

Same with Colors Odia which cannot stand up even a little bit to Zee Sarthak and Tarang.

Reason for success in Kannada they kept same old etv Kannada team and build new team for colors super. Viacom very strong position in Kannada. This year Dec10 for 20th anniversary of etv Kannada .We can expect Bigg event program (Rebond)
