Viacom18 is set to launch its fifth channel - Sonic -by mid-December.
With a core TG of 10-17 year old, the channel will air 80 per cent animation content.
Viacom18 already operates kids channel Nick apart from Hindi GEC Colors, youth channel MTV and English entertainment channel VH1.
