Videocon d2h struck at standby mode

Have videocon d2h dvr 1tb. its struck at standby mode wih red light on......showing no signal on tv screen and showing(00:00) on dvr....what to do....searched on internet the newer d2h have reset button at back to fix the standby problem but mine doesn't have reset button what to do??? Plzz help
