Vijay TV to air Jungle Book in Tamil on Christmas Day

After a long gap, Star India’s Tamil GEC Star Vijay television, which was once popular for telecasting Hollywood blockbusters dubbed in Tamil is revisiting the trend again. On December 18th Sunday, Vijay TV had telecast the 2016 blockbuster- The Jungle book.

For those who missed to watch the blockbuster earlier, The Channel will be airing the The Jungle book on December 25th, 11 am to bring more joy on Christmas Eve.

It is a live-action movie that tells the story of Mowgli, an orphaned human boy who, guided by his animal guardians, sets out on a journey of self-discovery while evading the threatening Shere Khan. Be it TV or film, jungle book is one story which enthrals various section of audience. The film was directed by the academy award winner, director Jon Favreau.

The film’s cast includes three Oscar winners: Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong’o and Christopher Walken; and an Oscar nominee: Bill Murray. Featuring Neel Sethi as Mowgli with voices from Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Scarlet Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and many more. Enjoy this Hollywood blockbuster in our Tamil language.

World Television Premier of The Jungle Book on Vijay TV sees 80% growth in Viewership

Star India’s Tamil GEC Star Vijay television, which was once popular for telecasting Hollywood blockbusters dubbed in Tamil, revisited the trend again on Sunday, 18 December with the World Television Premier of The Jungle Book.

Be it TV or film, jungle book is one story which enthrals various section of audience and this was proved once again with 80% viewership growth for Vijay TV in 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM time band, which was exactly the telecast time of World Television Premier of The Jungle Book on Vijay TV.

On Sunday, 18 December 2016, Vijay TV has witnessed 1682 Impression (000s) in the stipulated time band against previous four week average of 935 Impressions (000s), which is tallies to an 80% increase in viewership in 4+ TG of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry Market.
