It differs from person to person... General people can use Local market FTA boxes, Solid etc... For sat trackers OpenBox/DreamBox best... It helps for Card Sharing,Cam etc... I personally love Dream Box... Original chip Dream Box is difficult to get and it costs around 24K... So budget too depends... Voted for Dream Box...

I am a satellite tracker too, and Solid has a speciality of picking up very low signals and supports upto 45Msps Symbol rate... Solid is preferred as an entry level STB for a satellite tracker, its not in general category...
And abt dreambox, most dreambox available in India are a clone of the orginal one... Orginal one hard to find..
