I wonder why people watch movies online instead of watching it on tv. When i am watching tv,i am not in control of it. And thats what create the feeling of satisfaction for me. I Don't have to force myself to watch stuffs or Don't feel the temptation for jumping from content to content,Or skip parts that i Don't find interesting. Or i Don't have to force myself for 2-3 hours nonstop to watch a movie.In tv channels i can just sit, relax and enjoy. . I never watch movie online. It feels like a mental torture to me. Nothing can match the charm of watching movies on TV channels. And these ott platforms are quite costly by the way

Sometimes when we watch a show or movie randomly on TV, it clicks with us, we like it and we go to ott platforms to watch entire content so Tv also helps in discovering new content which one would not have discovered otherwise.

All things are correct, would like to add just one point:
I enjoy watching movies on Tv which I have enjoyed in Theatre, so watching already watched movie again is a thing that will be happening on TV only, e.g u have watched iron man on hotstar, I am sure I will not refer to OTT to watch that movie again
 
Sometimes because of ads you change the channel then the flow gets disrupted or if you gets busy with something else these are the problems we all use to face I think or if Mom or dad wants to see something else while we are watching something.

Doesn't matter. I used to watch 4-5 movies at a time on tv 😅also i have separate tv for my dad
 
Many are complaining about the ads. But these ads are actually what makes thing MORE refreshing for me. Its tiresome to watch a movie 2-3 hours nonstop. These breaks after 15-20 minutes makes the experience more refreshing. Also i used to watch 4-5 movies together for this ad reason.
