Zee Marathi at 5th spot What a fate, Was an undisputed market leader & ruled with 2 sister channels in the charts once...!
In Telugu both Gemini TV & Gemini Movies out from the tables concurrently for the first time. ETV losing grip, rating reduced considerably similar to Gemini. Zee Telugu maintaining good numbers after Star Maa.

At least Star Suvarna has recovered. Most of the time it used to be last like Star Kiran. Now Star Kiran is not even in the Odia top 5 and nor is Sidharth for that matter. These two are the only main GECs of the Star network which have never been No. 1 (or 2 for Star Vijay) or even close, not counting Star Bharat.

Odia market is small. Zee & Tarang are market leaders & their viewership is rigid. So Star should work more hard to break it. No opportunity of extracting ratings from other channels as others possess very few viewership numbers. Colors Tamil is the big disappointment in such category(of newly launched channels). They couldn't even surpass Jaya or Kalainger. The market is large and a #5 spot is not so hard.
Star is the market leader in 5 languages and many states while Viacom 18 & Sony doesn't tops in a single language, Zee & Sun leading in only one language. They are very ahead of competitors. Taking these facts in consideration current status of Star Kiran is not a matter of despair.
