Here are some few steps I would want TRAI to implementation to help television consumers :-

1. Scrap 30 days month from Cable/DTH. Introduce 28 days month like telecom sector. Telecom users like us are already enjoying. So that we can pay an additional monthly bill worth of a leap year's February.

2. Satellite TV entertainment license fee. Here they should make kyc mandatory for every set top box users. Users here must pay an annual amount of ₹100 to own a set top box from all operators. Be it state run or private. Money collected from it should be used for welfare for customer friendly organization like TRAI.

3. Force private broadcasters to air movie premieres on Prasar Bharati's channels. Since movies are important national art. This should be accessible to all. A freebie loader using DD FreeDish should be able to watch same movies as a person who has paid ₹153.40 + ₹22.42 on private DTH as it's important work of art.

These are just 3 of my suggestions. Feel free to add more. I'll continue finding new ideas and share here. Expecting someone from TRAI actually watches this and work on the feedbacks.

Channels prices not reduce broadcasters trai reaction ?

4. Capping NCF by hours. If a consumer consumes 3-4 hours of television per day. His or her NCF should be ₹130 if someone is found consuming 8-10 hours ₹230. If someone is consuming more than 10 hours. His or her NCF should be ₹500.
TV showrooms will be bankrupt 🤣 in one year.

This thread is deceptive and misleading. Title is about suggestions for welfare of TV viewers while the post looks more of a troll than serious feedbacks. It may not bring any healthy or useful discussion. Thread closed.
