In dth arena, due to carriage fees the channel will be discontinued . Here what is mean by that ?

carriage fees means relates to that kind of less popular channels which the channel co itself gives money to dth or mso operators to beam the channel on their platform. in this case the dth operator or mso do not give any money to the channel co.

time doubt what is
carriage fees if the
channels give certain
amount to dth for
carrying their channels,
then what will be the
profit for the channel
instead the dth getting
benefit from both sides
from the channel and
as well as from
customers. somebody
can elaborate this
matter clearly.

k friend..... That means SSTV is paying carriage fee to DISHTV am i right....

My question is if sstv not paid cariage fee means why dishtv disconecting sstv from their platform.... It is a free chanel they y they going remove that chanel just continue that chanel intheir platform means that wil increase the chanels list u know....
