Hi
I'm using Airtel's HEVC HD STB
Steps following
1. Go to Settings -> Audio -> Choose Dolby digital for preferredon HDMI

2. USE TV REMOTE ONLY ONCE (THIS MOMENT ONLY) TO TURN VOLUME OF LEVEL 50 OUT OF 100 AND THEN NEVER USE IT

3. Now, using STB remote- try to lower or increase the volume. The graphics Will display movements of volume bars shifting

But a bug found,
The implementation of CHANGE IN SOUND will not take place when STB remote used

This bug Will never occur with stereo settings is set for preferred for HDMI

Do this process and have your say

I'm using Dolby's digital compatible Sony Bravia klv p-413d

If you select dolby digital then you cannot control audio by stb sound.
You have to change by tv remote or Home theatre.

But stereo mode you can control by both remote.

same with all DTH I guess. It happens in Tata Sky too.

@Thread starter, are you talking about the volume in TV or STB when you say the bars are shown.
