I have recently bought a Vu 4k tv 50", the binge+ picture quality is really good but it lags while switching channels or startup besides tv is already running on android os so box seems redundant.
Yesterday I tried my old normal hd box of tataplay, but sd channels appears too dull and blurry..you cant even watch for 5 mins. Probably due to hevc

Please suggest

For me binge+ gives excellent quality in 1080p 60hz output, in 4k output upscaling is really bad gives less sharper images

Hevc in Tata play hd good or bad for picture quality? Reply plz

Go for tataplay binge+ box..the picture quality is 10 times better than normal hd box..actually few days I tested with my old tataplay hd box(hevc)
Are you test new launch Tata play hd box with hevc..new Tata play box is available in local market now in my area West Bengal.

My tataplay hd is old like 3 years old..but it is the hevc box made in thailand

I have not Wi-Fi.my tv is smart tv.for better picture quality.. which set top box is perfect..
I don't think there is any picture difference in new hd box and old hd box but binge+ picture quality is better than normal hd box..you can turn off wifi and use it as normal box. But one drawback is lag..rest you can enjoy hdr10 picture with Dolby audio in all channels😅
