Discussion WHICH SET TOP BOX TO BE USED FOR FREE DISH

I am new members from Pune, maharashtra

I need help in

1) Is free dish service available in PUNE city?

2) Which type of set top box shouid I choose, DVB S2 or DCB T2 or both in combo

3) can that requires dish? is my existing Tata Sky dish can be used?

4) Are there people who can sell and install the same for the charge?

5) what are the good brands /model No avaible in market?

6) Can same set top box can be used should i decide to go for Pay channel with Tata Sky or any other dish operator?

1) Is free dish service available in PUNE city?
as far as i know ddfd is available in all over india.
2) Which type of set top box shouid I choose, DVB S2 or DCB T2 or both in combo
dvb s2 is enough but if your city also have terristrial signals then choose dvb t2 combo. (make sure you have yagi antenna if you're purchasing t2 box.
3) can that requires dish? is my existing Tata Sky dish can be used?
yes, it requires dish for ddfd. for t2 you'll need antenna. soild dvb s2 and t2 combo box includes indoor yagi antena. you can use your ts dish for ddfd but you might need universal lnb. since i heard ts lnb won't receive ddfd signals.
4) Are there people who can sell and install the same for the charge?
set up is very simple you can do it yourself.
5) what are the good brands /model No avaible in market?
I'm using stc. which is good stb. but go fro solid stb which is best in market.
6) Can same set top box can be used should i decide to go for Pay channel with Tata Sky or any other dish operator?
no bro you'll need ts stb incase if you wanna go for ts pay channels. you can't watch ts pay channels in fta stb.

yes its available on all india ,use 45cm to 90 cm dish and icas stb , icas hv sd stb now in market or online like prysm stb is contact @akshayagurjar in tweeter or icas website
