At the start of the year, d2h made its statement clear - They want to expand by providing more and more regional content.

The channel number change directly aligns with this. As you can see they are allocating atleast 50 LCNs for each region.

We can expect many regional channels by the end of the year. Probably they also want to compete with Dish TV Zing Digital.

Addition of new channels will happen plus many International Channels might also come on their platform. Videocon d2h is the best customer friendly company, i mean they add SD and HD channels so fast, they have economical packages (ofcourse can't be as cheap as cable as running DTH is a costly business), provides facility of Safe Custody for 90 days for free while others charge for it, has best designed packages, provides great aftersales support on Twitter and Facebook. But yes they need to improve their slow software plus over the phone cust care
