Why doesn't govt. allocate a slot for SVBC channel on DD Free Dish dth.
Talking about it other way round, why doesn't SVBC atleast buy a slot for itself on DD Free dish ?
Surely price of the slot / money doesn't seem to be an issue here.
Do some vested interests prevent both of them from doing so?
"Crores of devotees of Lord Balaji who are watch only SVBC" are forced to pay to dth or cable operators.

Simply SVBC has to take part on e-Auctions, if it wins, it will be added. And, now a days, dd freedish carries mostly bhakti and news channels.

hello there! read my post..properly... . all that u wrote is already in the know,

Point here is reg - Is someone / "group of people" preventing SVBC (which is not short of resources) from bidding for a slot which costs around rs.2-3 crore./ yr, even if they really had to go the e-auction route to satisfy "secularists".

Till such time SVBC is made freely available on a public platform such as DD Free Dish dth service, it is a great injustice to devotees of Lord Balaji & Bharat This becomes even more unethical & unjustified especially when narrow minded secularists eagerly talk about utilizing the Lord's "FUNDS" for public welfare, but require them to participate in auction for a mere dth slot !! .

Maybe DD & SVBC's mutual understanding can bring a solution.

Most likely SVBC may not pay huge carriage fee to any MSO or DTH firm at present.

All DTH & MSO have added this channel by default keeping public interest in concern.

Likewise DD Direct can also add SVBC channel even if they don't take part in auction.

The same is the case with Prarthana Channel bro. All dths should mandatorily carry this channel as it is the only channel for Jagannath Lord & other Bangla Lords. See for SVBC DD Free Dish used to carry this channel but removed as it could not win a slot in e auction. As far as South Indian Channels are concerned DD Free Dish carries the following South Indian Channels as of now :

1. DD -Podhigai
2. DD -Saptagiri
3. DD -Yadagiri
4. DD -Vijaywada
5. DD -Chandana
6. DD -Malayalam
7. AIR (Tamil)
8. AIR (Telugu)
9. AIR (Kannada)
10. AIR (Malayalam)

So total 10 South Indian Channels.
