MUMBAI: Zee Khana Khazana will air movies even as it has unveiled a special summer line-up starting 10 May to make hot afternoons fun for viewers with food stories.
This time around, the channel will also air Bollywood food-themed movies to make Sundays delectable for viewers.
Called ‘Super Sundays’, the new programming line-up will air from 2 pm to 5 pm every Sunday, and showcase the best in culinary adventure for all age groups.
Zee Khana Khazana business head Amit Nair said, “’Super Sundays’ is a three-hour fiesta especially curated keeping the summer weekend viewing pattern in mind. With rising temperatures, most Indian families prefer to stay indoors. We want to ensure that they also remain constantly entertained during this time.
Every weekend there will be a discovery of a new kitchen, new flavours, and new stories. Through this special programming line-up of Zee Khana Khazana, we will present shows curated to all age groups.”
The first week of ‘Super Sundays’ (10 May) will present food mango-based recipes with shows like ‘Health Bhi Taste Bhi’, ‘Bacha Party’, ‘Food Ka Mood’ and ‘Breakfast Xpress’.
Adding to the bouquet of the line-up in the second week, the channel will screen two movies ‘Lunchbox’ and ‘English Vinglish’, which show how housewives rediscover their love for food.
In the third week, viewers will enjoy the best of ‘The Great Indian Rasoi’.
In the fourth week, ‘Eat Manual’ and ‘Bacha Party’ will see mothers and kids try their hands at new food ideas.
