ZEE TAMIL to extend three of it's popular serials to weekends from June 23

To combat Bigg Boss on Star Vijay, Zee TAMIL is all set to extend the three of it's popular fictions on the weekends from 23rd June. These shows include Poove poochuda VA at 8pm , yaaradi nee mohini at 8:30 and sembaruti at 9. With yaaradi nee mohini entering top 5 Tamil shows list of BARC trp list last week, zee tamil is likely to capitalise on the success of it's fictions to take on Star Vijay and Sun tv. Zee Tamil is also trying to cement it's position at no 2.

This move won't help Zee Tamil in anyway on Sunday Serials is the worst move and telecasting Serial everyday isnt a good move.

K TV tackled Bigg Boss Season by telecasting Big Heroes Super Hit movies from 7-10 PM everyday.

Zee Tamil HD should have followed the Same route everyday 11 PM movie should be advanced to 10 PM and in Weekends after Saregamapa at 8 PM if they telecast Movies that will be a good move.

Now K TV might again come up.

Bro why Zee Tamil gained in 8 30 PM slot Yaradi NEE mohini is Saravanan MEENACHI evergreen Vijay TV serial lost significant ratings and 9 PM Zee Tamil serial Sembaruthi is bit popular than any other serial and the main reason is a big void after Bigg Boss 1 ended but now Bigg Boss will be a strong competitor with K TV telecasting Big movies Zee Tamil chances of retaining the same TRP that too gained very recently is doubtful.

Zee Tamil shouldn't think their core fans are regular Serial viewers,They telecasted Tamil Premiere movies from January regularly than Vijay TV and Sun TV that's the main reason for their upward trend while K TV a popular movie channel losing out its strong rating.

Vijay TV don't know when(time slot) to telecast their serial that's the main reason for their Serials performing badly.

Now due to Bigg Boss two serials undergoing time change but both are doing well in that 9-10 PM Slot and able to keep much popular Zee Tamil Serial Sembaruthi gaining more ratings.

Now where they going to telecast that 9-10 PM serial is a funny decision I've ever seen one serial moved to 10 30 PM and other 1 30 PM(AfterNoon) both going to become unwatchable.

But if they accommodated both the Serials between 6 to 9 PM(Evening) it would have continued its good run.

Coming week Sunday 17th June Mersal telecast at 6 30 PM for Thalapathy Vijay's Birthday and Zee Tamil doing that very well spoiling Bigg Boss Inaugural Episode.

If they continued that trend every week that would brought a stiff competition.
