MUMBAI: Joining hands with radio network Big FM as media partner for the Big Tamil Music Awards, Zee Tamizh will air the awards show on 28 February at 7 pm.
Among the renowned names in music who attended the event were AR Rahman, Vairamuthu, Anirudh, Imman, Santhosh Narayanan, Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Surya and more.
The event also saw the footfall of celebrities from the Tamil film industry. Rahman, who counts background music artist Viji Manuel among his musical heroes, came up on stage to honour him for his contribution.
The awards ceremony also had performances by playback singers Hariharan, Annuradha Sriram, Sunitha Sarathi, among others.
