MUMBAI: Tamil general entertainment channel Zee Tamizh has unveiled its line-up of special
programmes for the occasion of Diwali.
The channel has scheduled a range of programmes and movies on 22 October.
Diwali will commence with a devotional programme by Carnatic musician Nithyashree Mahadevan at 6 am on 22 October.
This will be followed by a debate show from 8:30 to 10:00 am called ‘Sirappu Pattimandram’,moderated by well-known orator Avani Madasamy .
This show will showcase the importance of youngsters and
seniors in family life.
There will be a ‘Diwali Dhamaka’ at 10 am with a fun-filled show starring the leading fiction artists from shows like ‘Oru Kai Osai’,
‘Nenjathai Killathey’, ‘Gayatri’, ‘Sivaragasiyam’ and ‘Uyirmei’ on the channel. They will entertain the viewers with a variety of performances.
