ZEEL emerges victorious at PromaxBDA Asia and ITA Awards with wins for channels

Leading content conglomerate, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited is ending the year on a winning streak with its popular channels bagging numerous awards at two of the most highly acclaimed awards shows of the year -
PromaxBDA Asia and the Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards.

The PromaxBDA Asia Awards is the only competition of its kind honouring the finest work in television promotion, marketing and design for the Asia region. At the PromaxBDA Asia 2016 (held on 1st–2nd December, 2016 at The Arts House, Singapore), ZEEL won a total of 1 Gold and 2 Silvers.
&TV won Gold in the category of
Best Marketing Video Award for its Sales AV, while the two Silvers
went to Zee TV in the category of
Best Reality Campaign for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Zee Café in the category of Something for Nothing for 'Green Turn - Save Water - Save Every Drop.'

The Indian Television Academy Awards, also known as the ITA, is an annual event organised by the Indian Television Academy. At this year's awards (held last month in Mumbai), ZEEL celebrated with wins in multiple categories. &TV added another feather to its cap by winning prestigious awards in seven of the prominent categories. The immensely popular show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain won four awards -
Best Actress Comedy (Female) - Shubhangi Atre, Best Actor Comedy (Male) - Asif Sheikh, Best Director Comedy Serial - Shashank Bali and Best Writer Comedy Serial - Manoj Santoshi. While the social drama Gangaa had two wins with Ruhana Khanna bagging the 'Desh Ki Ladli - Most promising Child Star 2016' award and Sushmita Mukherjee wining the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Award. Lastly, the biggest singing platform of the nation 'The Voice India Kids' walked away with the
'Most Entertaining Reality Show' award. Zee TV also emerged victorious with a win for Kumkum Bhagya's Shabbir Ahluwalia in the Best Actor - Popular category, while ZeeQ's DIY local production
Engineer This! won the Best Children's Show award and
Zindagi's Aadhe Adhoore won
Best Singer (Jury) - Sardool Sikander and Best Title Music/ Song track (Jury) - Annujj Kappor.
