Dish TV owned Direct to Home (DTH) operator d2h will be restarting its installation process in Green and Orange zones with utmost safety and hygiene. d2h made the announcement via a tweet on Wednesday.

d2h stated that its installers have been equipped with all safety precautions and it was open to installation in all Green and Orange zones while ensuring the safety of customers and the installers. Dish TV, however, is yet to announce a similar move.

Dish TV on its website states, “We will be unable to serve you due to the nationwide lockdown mandated by Government of India. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and urge you to try again when the lockdown is over.”

Tata Sky, on the other hand, has been installing connections across the country with installers equipped with protection equipment including Hazmat suit. Installer visits, however, could be delayed due to COVID-19. The status of Airtel Digital TV and Sun Direct new installations is unknown with no information on the same available in the public domain as of now.
