DD Hisar, DD Panaji and DD Shimla set to shift to MPEG-4 slots from August 16 on DD Free Dish

DD Hisar, DD Panaji and DD Shimla set to shifted to MPEG-4 slots from August 16 on DD Free Dish. LCN of channels also set to change on the same day.

Doordarshan on Tuesday vide circular No. DTH/81/2019-P VII intimated that three of its channel currently available on DD Free Dish platform would be changing its slots along with a change in its logical channel number (LCN) as well.

DD Panaji, DD Hisar, and DD Shimla TV channels are set to shift from to MPEG-4 slots of DD Free Dish w.e.f 16 August morning. The mentioned channels are currently available on MPEG-2 slots on DD Free Dish. The logical channel number (LCN) of these channels would also be changed from 16 August morning.

DD Panaji will be shifted from its current LCN 05 to LCN 83. DD Hisar will be shifted from its current LCN 69 to LCN 84. DD Shimla will be shifted from its current LCN 72 to LCN 85. Last week Manoranjan Grand, Zingaat & Skystar Telugu had won MPEG-2 slots in the 41st DD Free Dish E-Auction.
