DD Retro now available on Tata Sky

Tata Sky on Wednesday became the third private DTH operator to add DD Retro on its platform following in the footsteps of Sun Direct and Airtel Digital. It started testing the channel on its platform yesterday which was followed by the addition on set-top boxes at LCN 180.

Dish TV and d2h are now the only DTH operators which haven’t added the channel on their platforms. The DTH operator has been fairly slow in new channel addition compared to other DTH operators for a long time.

DD Retro went live last week on DD Free Dish followed by the addition on Sun Direct and Airtel Digital TV. The channel is airing nostalgic programs for its viewers.

Shaktimaan, Sankat Mochan Hanuman, Mahabharat, Chanakya, Upanishad Ganga, Dekh Bhai Dekh, and Buniyaad are airing on DD Retro. The channel has garnered a huge buzz over the last few days following the huge success of DD National which has been airing classic programs from its archives.
