It’s time to analyze the performance of Direct-to-Home (DTH) operators for February 2025. Starting with Airtel Digital TV, the operator added 8 new channels and 4 channels were removed from the platform. Tata Play added 6 new channels and removed 2 channels. Dish TV and D2H added 3 channels individually while D2H removed 1 channel. Sun Direct also added 3 new channels. DD Free Dish removed 2 channels and added none.

Tata Play
The additions made by Tata Play on their platform include Surya Samachar, News Live Bangla, Assam Talks, Village TV, Anand TV, and News X World. Tata Play removed 9X Jalwa and 6TV. In February 2025, Tata Play provided both Jingalala Afternoon and Saturdays Offer. Besides Jingalala offers, Tata Play hiked NCF prices and 13 channels were removed from the FTA Complimentary New Pack.
Airtel Digital TV
Airtel Digital TV has made 8 new channels available namely DD National HD, DD Sports HD, DD India HD, DD News HD, FM News, Kolkata TV, Mahaa MAX and Raj Nagaichuvai. Vedic, Subarthi, Mastiii, News 11 Bharat, and India Ahead were removed from the platform. There was no Super Sunday sale provided by Airtel Digital TV for the whole February month.
Dish TV and D2H
Dish TV added News Live Bangla, Sun Neo, and Jantantra TV and not a single channel was removed from the platform. Dish TV launched Dish Smart+ dongle with ODU at Rs 1999. It also launched predict and win contest for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Star Sports 1 Hindi HD & SD are free for Dish TV users and Sports18 1 & 3 SD (now Star Sports 2 Hindi and Star Sports 2 Tamil) are free to Zing Super users.
D2H added Sports18 2 (now Star Sports 2 Telugu), Sun Neo, Sun Marathi and removed Jothi TV. D2H increased the prices of all their Active service channels. Star Sports 1 HD is free for D2H users and launched predict and win contest for ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Sun Direct
Sun Direct added Zee Thirai, Zee Punjabi, and Tehzeeb TV on its platform and no channel was removed in February month. Sun Direct had no other activity during the entire month.
DD Free Dish
The state-owned, Free-to-air satellite television provider DD Free Dish removed Star Gold Thrills and News18 UP/UK from its platform. There were no channel additions made by DD Free Dish in the February month.
