Flipkart launched Nokia Smart TV at Rs. 41,999

Flipkart on Thursday launched Nokia branded Smart Led TV. The TV is manufactured by Flipkart. Under the strategic partnership with Nokia, Flipkart uses the Nokia brand name for its TV productions. The price of the TV is Rs. 41,999. The TV will go on sale on Flipkart starting December 10, 2019, at 12:00 PM.

The company is offering a flat Rs. 2000 off on all credit or debit cards, Net Banking and EMI transactions. Customers can buy Complete TV Protection coverage that includes three years warranty against manufacturing defects and accidental damages at Rs. 999. It also includes a guaranteed 30 percent exchange value at the end of three years.

The TV comes with a 55-inch 4K UHD screen. It is equipped with Intelligent Dimming Technology, Dolby Vision and HDR 10. The display has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and it supports up to 400 nits brightness. The refresh rate of the screen is 60 Hz.

The smart TV comes with MEMC technology that provides a blur-free viewing experience. It has built-in 24W bottom-firing speakers that are powered by JBL audio technology that delivers superior sound quality. The TV also supports Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround sound.

Nokia Smart TV is powered by Quad-core Cortex A53, a 1Ghz processor paired with the Mali450 Quad-core graphics processor. It has 2.25 GB of Ram and 16 GB of internal storage. Users will get approx. 11 GB of internal storage to install apps from the Google Play store. It runs Android Pie (9.0) operating system. For connectivity, the TV has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, Wi-Fi, Ethernet (RJ45) and Bluetooth 5.0 technology. We have to wait and watch if this Flipkart+Nokia partnership can make inroads in the heavily crowded Smart TV market.

Technology wise fine. The JBL audio and blootooth 5.0 gives extra support, i think 👍
