MIB cancels Dewshree Network MSO registration

Dewshree Network Private Limited surrendered its MSO registration earlier this year. The Ministry recently formally cancelled the MSO registration of the company.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) last month cancelled the MSO registration of Dewshree Network Private Limited. The number of cancelled or closed MSO registrations as of 31st March 2022 stood at 145 as per the Ministry.

The Multi-System Operator (MSO) recently surrendered its MSO registration vide letter dated 24th February 2022 to the Ministry. The Ministry in further action has cancelled the MSO registration on 22nd March 2022.

The Gujarat based MSO had initially bagged the MSO registration on 25th November 2012 vide registration number 9/98/2012-BP&L. The MSO registration was valid till 24th November 2022.

The Ministry in March also cancelled the MSO application of Anil Kumar Singh and Sai Enterprise citing the suppresion of vital information for the rejection. MIB also cancelled the MSO registration of Kavali Entertainment Network Private Limited in February 2022 citing the same reason.
