MIB grants MSO registration to Softech Infosol, Bhumi Cable, and Shabkha Taqnia in May 2022
Total number of registered MSOs at 1760 as MIB issues 3 fresh MSO registrations in May 2022.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) last month issued MSO registrations to three new applicants. The Ministry issued MSO registrations to Softech Infosol Private Limited, Bhumi Cable, and Shabkha Taqnia Private Limited last month.
The Ministry issued MSO registration to Softech Infosol Private Limited on 9th May 2022 vide registration number 45009/73/2020-DAS. The Haryana based company’s MSO registration is valid till 8th May 2032.
Bhumi Cable was granted MSO registration on 10th May 2022 vide registration number 45009/22/2021-DAS. The Gujarat based partnership entity’s MSO registration is valid till 9th May 2032.
Lastly, Shabkha Taqnia Private Limited was granted MSO registration on 10th May 2022 vide registration number 45009/33/2021-DAS. The Jammu and Kashmir based company’s MSO registration is valid till 9th May 2032.
As per the Ministry, there are 1760 registered MSOs in total as of 31st May 2022. All registered MSOs can operate anywhere in India unless indicated in registration order specifically.
