MIB grants permission to Enter 10 Television to launch ‘Dangal 2’

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) recently granted permission to Enter 10 Television Private Limited to launch ‘Dangal 2’.

The company has got the greenlight from the Ministry for a satellite TV channel license named ‘Dangal 2’ paving the way for the formal launch of the channel.

The nod for ‘Dangal 2’ is believed to have been vide the renaming of Enter 10 Television’s erstwhile TV channel license ‘Enterr10 Movies‘. The TV license is part of the ‘Non-News and Current Affairs’ category with permission for both uplinking and downlinking.

The company has the permission to broadcast in English and Hindi. The license permits the company to operate the channel from GSAT-30, an Indian satellite.

The company in February end had teased the coming soon avatar of Enterr10 Movies which was said to under renovation.

The company with its commitment to provide high quality entertainment through relevant and refreshing content had announced the rebranding of its existing movie channel Enterr10 Movies and the launch of a new GEC instead.

Enterr10 Movies broadcasted Hindi and dubbed South block buster movies as well as Kids content including animated cartoons. The channel post rebranding will air a mixed bag of popular TV shows cutting across all genres namely Mythology, Drama, Horror, Crime, and Historical Biopics among others.

The channel with a whole new perspective is expected to launch by April 2022 in its new rebranded avatar. The company will tap into its two decades of experience in the broadcasting of content for Hindi speaking population coupled with the understanding and insights into the audience perspectives.
