NDTV revises tariffs in their new RIO

Effective from February 1, 2025, NDTV India will transition to a Free-to-Air (FTA) channel.

India’s leading news broadcaster, New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV), has announced the release of its new Reference Interconnect Order (RIO) on January 16, 2025. The new RIO is scheduled to take effect on February 1, 2025.

According to the latest RIO from NDTV, NDTV India is set to become a free-to-air (FTA) channel, joining the FTA category with already included NDTV Rajasthan, NDTV MP/CG, and NDTV Marathi. In addition, NDTV 24×7 will be available for Rs 3.5, while NDTV Profit and Good Times will each be offered at Rs 1.5. Viewers can add these channels individually as a la carte.

The pricing for the NDTV bouquet has been firmly revised. The NDTV Ultra is now priced at Rs 4.5 and will include NDTV 24×7, NDTV Profit, and Good Times. The NDTV North Life bouquet is set at Rs 4, including NDTV 24×7 and Good Times. Finally, the NDTV English Info bouquet is available for Rs 3.5, featuring NDTV 24×7 and NDTV Profit.

The rival news broadcasters Zee Media, TV Today Network, and Times Network have released also their respective RIOs in the satellite TV news segment and are set to go live on February 1, 2025.
