Discussion Nat Geo People HD, VH1 HD, Nat Geo Music HD missing HD logo

Are these channels upscaled to 1080i? These channels lack HD beside the logos. If we search these channels in Google images, we can find HD written beside the channel logos.

National Geographic HD, Nat Geo Wild, Fox Life HD, Sony ROX HD, MTV beats HD are some of the various Genuine HD channels having HD logo.

DSports is a HD channel only and there is no hd logo in the channel
hd logo is not a must.

There is no rule of government to put HD logo on HD channels. Some companies use HD logo so that common people can distinguish between SD and HD channels. That's why Tata Sky uses their own "HD" logo on some HD channels which missing HD logo.

yes there's no rule in having "HD" logo written beside the channel logo, but in my opnion these above mentioned channels & DSport have not good PQ compared to their peers. May be I am unable to differentiate much between SD & HD versions of Nat Geo People, VH1 & Nat Geo music, but I have observed stark contrasts between SD & HD versions of Sony Sports Channels, many movie channels.

In many international versions, these channels have HD in their logo. I have no gripe if they dont have HD in their logo but atleast PQ should be improved.
