I have received call from Airtel customer care that current existing packs are restarted and demands Rs 2150 for infinity 3 months pack whereas last paid Rs 1650.

Hefty price hike by Airtel after TRAI new rate implementation.

Infinity Packs discounted long back. Today they have introduced new packs according to the new pack price must be Rs.2150

As per the pricing structure JIO is knocking the door and provide same on half the rate with additional features.
Same is seen call rate Rs 16 per minute and after reliance mobile launch incoming free and call rate reduced to Rs 3 to 4.
Jio launch both incoming and outgoing free.
TRAI opening door for JIO FTTH.

Airtel mobile made first free mobile incoming calls in india, and Way back time BPL made first per second.billing in India then later time they discontinued it again Docomo came with 1sec/1paisa billing that made another revolution. Jio came up with data revolution, but in coming year they will struggle to maintain customer base for sure. In dth we have to wait for a revolution but i think there is nothing huge is possible as trai is already passed this rule. Any new players will have to follow tge existing rules aprt from a 3.month launch offers.

True, first implement such nasty rules & regulations for existing operators & then excuse JIO saying that it is streaming service.
The way they killed telecom sector, next is DTH/Cable industry
This rule is applicable for dth, ftth tv, ott mostly all possible tv viewing technologies.
