Yes We Need Zee Classic HD and Zee Bollywood HD Channels also

Many viewers want these criteria to be fulfilled across channels

- No Subscription Cost or very minimal fee
- Ad Free or Little Ads
- Best Transmission/Broadcast Quality
- Excellent Content & Top Notch Packaging/ Presentation

And many other things.....


All i can say is that this cannot be done and we will forever get average things until mindset evolves to accept quality at a certain price.

The Dth operators are not giving the launched channels. How they will provide new channels until there is an agreement.The channel by the look looks premium and until there are mutual agreements it will not be on DTH operators and cable operators.

Yes... Whatever Movie Montage provided so far from the Broadcaster Side by that it feels to be a very Classy & Premium Contentful Channel from ZEEL which is really good for the Audiences to enhance their Movie Schedule in accordance other than Bored South Masala Stuffs all day all Channel Policy.

As per the Montages provided in the Graphical Promo of & XPLOR HD it seems to cater very Premium Selective Meaningful Bollywood as well as Hollywood Stuffs on the Board.

So in one line it's like star gold select HD...star gold select didn't get much famous because they don't have much offbeat movies in their library and repeating same movies multiple times

Yes, it is important for broadcasters to build demand more so incase of niche channels. Unless there is enough demand, operators delay or even never add the concerned channel/s.

In earlier regime too operators added channels based on demand thus not willing to lend bandwidth or pay more to broadcaster unless there was pressure from us. Now also though advance money related problem is not there but bandwidth is still an issue and operators will not sign with revised bouquet until situation forces them to.

All in all nothing wrong or unusual with approach of Zee, they cannot pay carriage for every channel launch and risk loss. You all r absolutely right, Star has miniscule library of offbeat or acclaimed stuff or even regular bollywood mainstream films and keep repeating them day after day... Zee on other hand is miles ahead in each department and catering well across segments. Just hope Zee Action is converted into Hollywood Dubbed channel, &Pictures HD paves way for Zee Bollywood HD, Zee Anmol Cinema airs films from 80's to 2000 and Zee Bollywood is destination for post 2000 cinema.

Lastly airtel has not signed revised bouquet agreement with Star or Zee, they have just brought Zes Anmol Cinema/ Classic, Star Gold Select on Individual RIO basis. Reason is that they r waiting for all issues to settle down, sign all agreements post that and get incentives or good deals accordingly. Will take some time as Dish d2h partnership is still in works alongwith other things.... New Deal with Star India will have Nat Geo Wild HD on board and UTV Movies channels clubbed in Star Bouquet thus leading to dissolving of current Disney Bouquet. Dish d2h will see gradual addition of new channels and things will improve thereon

No need to pay extra for channels not included in bouquet, just ask airtel to credit amount equal to their price in ur account or they might be even having special complimentary top ups for it.

Agree with all your points. Shocking that NGW HD is missing on not only ADTV but also Sun. Off-topic: Sun should strike a deal with Star because many important channels (Star Gold HD, SGS HD, Jalsha/Jalsha Movies HD) are missing. Similarly, Sony Sab HD is missing.

We always tend to give a miss to Indiacast interms of distribution of HD Channels, many of their channels are not available across DTH Platforms and too some extent on cable too.

By the way anyone working with TV18 or Viacom18... R u getting special access to FYI TV18 HD in ur office... May as some kind of perk or bonus
