Siti Networks continues to be no. 1 MSO at the end of March 2021

Siti Networks maintains lead at the top of the ladder in terms of Cable TV market share as of March 2021.

Multi-System Operator (MSO) Siti Networks has continued to be the biggest operator in the Cable TV sector at the end of March 2021 with a subscriber base of 8.25 million, down from 8.57 million at the end of December 2020, as per TRA’s recently released report. The company is followed by GTPL Hathway, Hathway Digital, and Den Networks at second, third, and fourth positions respectively.

GTPL Hathway stood second with 7.74 million subscribers, up from 7.69 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. Hathway Digital stood third with 5.66 million subscribers, up from 5.47 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. Den Networks stood fourth with 4.52 million subscribers, down from 4.94 million subscribers in the preceding quarter.

Thamizhaga Cable TV Communication Pvt Ltd (TCCL) stood fifth with 3.53 million subscribers, up from 3.47 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. Kerala Communications Cable Ltd (KCCL) stood sixth with 3.05 million subscribers, up from 3.02 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV stood seventh with 2.93 million subscribers, down from 3.01 million subscribers in the preceding quarter.

Fastway Transmissions stood eighth with 2.25 million subscribers, down from 2.23 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. NXT Digital Ltd (HITS) stood ninth with 2.05 million subscribers, down from 2.18 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. KAL Cables stood tenth with 2.02 million subscribers, up from 2.0 million subscribers in the preceding quarter.

VK Digital came eleventh with 1.76 million subscribers, up from 1.71 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. Asianet Digital Network came twelfth with 1.22 million subscribers, down from 1.226 million subscribers in the preceding quarter. NXT Digital Ltd (Cable TV) came thirteenth with 1.172 million subscribers, down from 1.238 million subscribers in the preceding quarter.

I guess many cable operators are hiding the real count of subscribers to grab the direct banefit 🤔 otherwise I hardly found any users of Siti Cable nearby.
