Star Sports pays tribute to Dream11 IPL 2020 fans with #FanWeek

Posted in:

Star Sports is celebrating Fan Week from 16th October to 22 October dedicated to die-hard fans which captures the fandom across the nation giving the fans a chance to interact with Star Sports experts.

Lucky fans get the chance to interact with their favourite IPL players while David Warner interacted with young Sunrisers Hyderabad super fans. Star Sports pre-show Cricket Live featured super fans express their love for their favourite teams and players.

Star Sports featured Bollywood celebrity fans who shared their anecdotes and cheer for their favourite team and players. Dream11 IPL 2020 fans can also post a question for Star Sports experts on the Byju’s Cricket Live and Select Dugout.

It’s incredibly different for fans and players this year. For instance, players like Virat Kohli or the Chennai Super Kings team feed off the energy of fans who dedicatedly visit the stadium to cheer their favourite team and players. With fans not being able to visit the stadium, Star Sports has taken tremendous efforts in bringing fans closer to the game – Fan Week is part of that. This will continue to connect fans to the Dream11 IPL 2020 and its players through various activities, and I’m looking forward to it. I have always loved taking questions from fans and it gives me great pleasure in responding in the best possible way.

Scott Styris

Star Sports experts engaged with fans virtually and answered their question on Instagram with Ajit Agarkar, Aakash Chopra, Graeme Swann, and Scott Styris among those interacting with the fans through the exciting Ask Me Anything’ initiative. Star Sports will continue to offer an engaging Dream11 IPL 2020 by celebrating fans throughout the week.
