Sudhir Chaudhary steps down as Zee Media CEO

Zee Media Corporation Limited yesterday announced the resignation of Sudhir Chaudhary from the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. Sudhir Chaudhary has ceased to be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and key managerial personnel of the company with effect from the close of the business hours of July 1.

Zee Media has initiated the process for nomination of Abhay Ojha, Chief Business Officer of the company as key managerial personnel in place of Sudhir Chaudhary.

Chaudhary in his resignation letter stated that his resignation was due to his internal deliberations to begin his own enterprise. He sought the blessings of Subhash Chandra in his resignation letter for his new venture. Subhash Chandra tried to persuade Chaudhary to stay but allowed him to leave to start his own enterprise.
