Direct to Home (DTH) operator Sun Direct has finally onboarded the TRAI Channel Selector app ensuring the presence of all pay Direct to Home (DTH) platforms in the country on the regulator’s unified app for DTH and Cable TV subscribers to make changes to their subscription.

TRAI Channel Selector app has onboarded Sun Direct earlier today, over a month after it was officially launched by the broadcasting watchdog on 25th June. Back then, all the other pay DTH platforms were available on the TRAI Channel Selector app except for Sun Direct. TRAI had stated that more DTH and MSOs would be on board as and when they would ready.

TRAI’s app now lists Airtel, Asianet, D2H, DEN Networks Ltd, Dish TV, GTPL, Hathway Digital, InDigital, Kerala Vision Digital TV, Siti Networks, Sun Direct and Tata Sky as the onboard operators. The reviews from the customers, however, have been negative towards the Channel Selector app at large.

In other news, Sun Direct had last month revamped its Android app in the beta program which brought in new features including refreshing of set-top box, pack comparison, wallet balance among others.
