MIB sends general advisory on COVID 19 appropriate behaviour to all private satellite TV channels.

MIB post the cancellation has now cancelled 340 TV licenses till date as per it’s database reducing the permitted satellite TV channel database to 900 as of yesterday.
The broadcaster’s license is now named as ‘News 24 Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh’ signalling it’s intent to expand with a new regional Hindi news channel aimed at catering to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The satellite TV channel license was initially granted to Calcutta Television Network Private Limited as ‘CTVN AKD Rastrio’ on 23rd November 2020 that now stands renamed as ‘AKD CN Rashtriya’.
The renaming of the satellite TV channel license is believed to have taken place last week with the channel already up on satellite for a dry run test.
‘Tulasi News’ satellite TV channel license held by ‘Tulasi Broadcasting Network Limited’ has been renamed to ‘NK TV 24*7’ by MIB.
The Ministry cancelled the ‘Mauja Mosti’ and ‘Tak Dhina Din’ satellite TV license effective today.
The license has the permission to operate from GSAT-17 using the teleport services of Information TV Private Limited.
