Tata Play (formerly called Tata Sky) has brought back the 6K Dhamaka offer effective from February 28. Under this offer, new customers can get a free connection with the hybrid Android Binge+ set-top box. The customers are also free to choose any channel or pack that they like, there is no lock-in period restriction or mandatory long term pack subscription.

Dhamaka offer was first started in August 2021 which provided a new HD connection for free on paying Rs 4,000 at one instant while booking. Later in September 2021, this offer was expanded to Binge+ STB as well for which customers had to pay Rs 6,000 while booking their connection.

After activation of their DTH connection, the full paid amount gets credited as the Tata Play account balance without deducting any charge for STB, antenna (outdoor unit), or installation. This was available for all new customers across the country.

Now, the recently rebranded company has brought back this offer for Binge+ connections but restricted only to seven south Indian states namely- Andaman Nicobar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

New customers residing in any of these states are eligible to get a Binge+ box connection for free on recharging with Rs 6,000. This free connection includes an outdoor unit, Binge+ set-top box, LNB, power adaptor and connecting cables with up to a 1-year warranty.
