Tata Sky expected to launch Tata Sky Gujarati Cinema on 17 October

UPDATE [October 16] : The launch of Tata Sky Gujrati Cinema has been postponed. Now the operator is expected to launch this platform service channel on 17th October.

Tata Sky is going to launch a new service channel named Tata Sky Gujarati Cinema on its platform starting tentatively from 16th October. The launch will happen a week after Tata Sky launched Tata Sky Bangla Music service on its platform.

According to a report released by TRAI, Tata Sky has overthrown Dish TV to become biggest DTH operator of the country, with the launch of Gujarati channel the company is strengthening its regional content library and aiming to get more subscribers.

This channel will be priced at Rs. 45 per month. Customers can watch it on channel number 1703. As a special launch offer, Tata Sky will be offering it Free for the first 5 days followed by Rs. 45 per month. Tata Sky Gujarati Cinema will premiere movies, plays, all-time hit Gujrati movies and a variety of shows like a Comedy show, cookery show, interview-based chat shows, devotional songs, etc.

After launch customers can go to mytatasky.com or Tata Sky Mobile app or give a missed call to 0 80619 99900 from their registered mobile number (RMN) to activate this channel.

The operator already has 6 regional platform services namely Tata Sky Tamil Cinema, Tata Sky Telugu Cinema, Tata Sky Marathi Cinema, Tata Sky Bangla Cinema, Tata Sky Bhojpuri Sanima, and Tata Sky Punjab De Rang. Tata Sky Gujarati Cinema will further broaden the regional reach of the operator.
