Tata Sky introduces Try and Buy Offer for MDU till 8th July 2020

On completion of the trial period, the eligible subscriber can choose to discontinue the service or continue with the service.

Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has introduced a new Try and Buy offer for its new customers that reside at Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) buildings. The MDU Try and Buy offer is only available in select territories for a limited time.

The offer is limited to Delhi, Noida, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Kochi, Nagpur, Rajkot, Surat, and Vadodra only subject to lockdown restrictions due to COVID-19. Tata Sky will only do installations in buildings situated in green zones, where DTH operations are permitted. However, the installation process may take a longer time.

Tata Sky Representative said, “MDU Try and Buy is a new offer launched by Tata Sky under which a free HD connection along with a free subscription to MDU TNB pack will be given to prospective customers for a month, to try out the Tata Sky experience. The offer is only applicable for non-Tata Sky customers only, who wish to try the Tata Sky experience before buying.”

Under the MDU Try and Buy offer eligible subscribers will get a 1 month free trial of DTH connection with Tata Sky HD Zapper under the Non-ODU model, Digi Card, remote control, cable wires, connectors, and other accessories. 1-month subscription pack of Premium Sports English HD pack will be available to the customers.

The ODU unit will be common for the building with the offer covering the cost of STB, Installation Fee, Activation Fee, and payment towards the offer pack including Network Capacity Fees. On completion of the trial period, the eligible subscriber can choose to discontinue the service or continue with the service.

Tata Sky authorized representative will contact eligible customers after the 25th day of the date of activation to enquire if the eligible subscriber wants to continue with the DTH connection.

Incase, the customer wants to continue with the connection, then the subscriber has to pay a mentioned cost based on the total recharge made in the balance from the day of activation, until Day 40 from the date of activation.

If the total recharge amount is less than Rs 1500 then the DTH connection has to be returned with the connection being suspended. If the total recharge amount is between Rs 1501 and Rs 2499, then the cost of availing the DTH connection shall be Rs 1500 which shall be debited from the account balance.

If the total recharge amount is between Rs 2500 and Rs 6000, then the cost of availing the DTH connection shall be Rs 750 which shall be deducted from the account balance. If the total recharge amount is greater than Rs 600, then the customer shall not pay anything for the connection.

The offer will not be applicable for Multi TV connections with Tata Sky employees, business dealers, advertising agencies. and anyone involved with the promotion not entitled to avail the offer.
