Tata Sky has started providing 2 paid channels Star Sports First and Nat Geo Wild for free to its every user for limited period of time. The original price for these channels are Rs. 1 per month each but Tata Customers will no longer be charged for this amount.
The operator is providing these channels for free as compensation for Star India channels which are not available on Tata Sky- Star Sports 1 Marathi, Nat Geo Telugu, Nat Geo Tamil.
Both channels have been available for free on Tata Sky from 16 October and users won’t be charged for them till 31st October. From 1st November onwards Rs. 1 per month will be applicable for each channel.
Pack Optimization
Tata Sky on 17 October added new Pack Optimization feature to help reduce DTH monthly charges. This feature will look for Broadcaster or Tata Sky Curated packs having more channels at a lower price. À la carte channels are generally costlier than bouquets and hence by using it subscribers may save a little bit of their hard-earned money.
