The Magnum Opus 2.0 Directed By Shankar Starring Rajinikanth,Amy Jackson,Salman Khan And Others,Produced By Lyca Productions And Music By Oscar Winner A.R.Rahman Was Actually Scheduled For Diwali 2017 That Was OCT 18 17.But Now,The Makers Have Pushed The Project To Another Date Due To The World Class VFX Standards That They Wish To Deliver.They Have Now Announced The Release Date As JAN 25 2018

Its definitely due to Thor Ragnarok which is scheduled to release in October .  Robo 2.0  will face stiff competition and ticket sales will drop significantly so they postponed it too jan 25th

robo was scheduled for -18 oct , ragnarok - 25 oct
so after 1week total sales drop !!! by then reviews will be out so there will be huge loss for producers
