It's not upscaled, it's true hd 10880i but as they take coverages in low res camera so the quality looks same as sd channel they do not film on 4k type camera thats supports good resolution. Regarding this newsroom pic, its not 1080p it's 1080i

Depends on ur operator.. as far as i know Airtel and jio its free.
