Case registered against ‘Sodakku’ song from ‘TSK’

AIADMK member P Satish Kumar has named producer Gnanavel Raj, music director Anirudh Ravichander and lyricist Mani Amuthavanan in his petition.

I heard the song Sodakku mela sodakku podu from the movie Thaana Serndha Kootam, music composed by 3rd respondent (Anirudh) and 4th respondent (Mani). In that song a line, clearly defamatory, indicates that politicians should be destroyed and must be beaten and punished, through lyrics as follows: Veratty veratty velukka thonuthu. Also, it is mentioned clearly that politicians are dirty, and they should be chased and beaten by the people
