Yes. H.265 is HEVC
Full specs: 4K: 4096x276 60 fps SupportsMPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.265, H.264, MC, VC-1, VP9, AVI, MP-4, FLV, 3GP, WMV, MOV, MP4 and MKV
Thanks. That's great. I have read several reviews that there is a notable channel switching lag when changing channels and A/V sync issues? Does this problems really persist or has it been resolved by a firmware update?

I am not using Internet TV so don't know about channel lag issue. Maybe @hindifun or @karan_hdl can answer your question.

Channel switching lag is there sometime because of wi-fi remote.
Never faced any a/v sync issue.

No not yet , still problem exist, if your TV 65 or 55 , think about it , picture quality is not that great.

Picture SD is totally blure, HD quality looks like ok, but not great.

I was also bought by looking at spec , but I am not seeing the HEVC quality for SD channels, 55 inches TV , but is ok with 42 inches TV.
Airtel broadcast is not HEVC yet but STB is capable.

Ok I don't know that Airtel is HEVC, but I am using D2h 4k box since 2015 , picture quality SD is as good as HD, is D2h HEVC ?

Recently I bought Airtel 4k box with 1 year subscription , because picture quality I moved Airtel STB to guest room , still continueing with d2h 4k box ( picture quality observations all my family members observations).

PQ depends on codec and bit rate. A year back Airtel upgraded channels from MPEG4 to H.264 but not yet to h.265 (HEVC). Before that Airtel SD PQ was even worse. Chance of HEVC transmission is very low because of old hardware STBs in use. I don't think any DTH in India is fully converted into HEVC yet. D2H PQ may be due to higher data rate only.

Ok, then how D2h is managing PQ, is Cisco d2h 4k has some differences ?

I am seeing considerable PQ differences.
