I believe Infinity Sports may be taken off the shelves anytime.

I don't think ROI Infinity Sports pack is going to be shelved because they hiked the price just recently. South pack is different. It has only FTA , regional and Sports channels. No English news, no Hindi GEC, no Infotainment and no Kids channels. So maybe it was not as popular as ROI Sports pack?
Edit: I think they should add infotainment channels and English News in SIS pack and increase 12M pack by Rs. 150 instead of discontinuing.

Oh, that's a huge difference. According to me Infinity Sports is quite a popular pack in ROI region because of the genres you mentioned in your post. The only major exclusion is English Ent., English Movies, English Music, which a larger population may not be interested in and this can be taken as TopUp if needed.
